This styled shoot was everything beyond my wildest dreams! It was perfect! Between the details, the dress and using two gorgeous souls, it is what my heart needs. Styled shoots like these help push you outside your comfort zone to think of ways you wouldn’t normally think of. Poses that you have always wanted to try, tools you haven’t gotten to use yet. Moreover, it sets your creativity on fire.

I drove from Fort Bragg to Charlotte, North Carolina for this shoot. It is only a two and a half hour drive, not bad at all. Firstly, downtown Charlotte is absolutely beautiful. The old buildings to the accepting vibe of the people, you’d love it. Second, the venue is inside of the Iveys Hotel at Sophia’s Lounge. The lounge has this soulful vibe to it. Similarly, it is dark and light. Comfortable chairs you can, literally, spread out on. Thirdly, you instantly feel connected to the hosts who run the Mirage Creative Workshop, Rebecca and Megan. They are the brains and hearts of this brand. A brand of inclusivity, of weird, of thinking outside of the box! Moreover, they loved my Dwight mask, so there ya go!

Above all, they worked so hard to create a list of vendors who also are open to inclusivity and creativity. They are all listed below and tagged on my Instagram post. I am, literally (said like Rob Lowe), still reeling from this shoot and I cannot wait for their next one! I’ll stop talking now, so enjoy the yummy goodness of Charlie!!! How amazing is he? I mean, even I cannot walk in heels like that!
